Calling All Animals

Written by Master Charles Cannon, Will Wilkinson

A South African woman, Anna Breytenbach, who communicates telepathically with animals, recently turned a snarling leopard into a relaxed cat, blowing the mind of the keeper, who has worked with animals all his life and has already developed trusting relationships with lions and tigers (he plays with them). But, he confessed that he had never encountered anything remotely like this.

So, just what did Ana say to Diablo the black leopard? She told him that he was beautiful, that she respected him, and that nothing was required or demanded of him. Just hearing this, somehow, changed him so dramatically that the keeper described “two completely different cats.”

While none of us have leopards or tigers in our back yard, we may have dogs and cats and birds and fish. Do we talk to them? Do we even consider them worthy of our intelligent attention? So often domesticated animals may be fed and sheltered but what about real connection? Are they actually being emotionally neglected?

Anna’s abilities are inspiring, opening up so many possibilities for us to shed another dividing line that separates us from life: Humans here, animals over there. Well, we’re all part of the same fabric of life!
