“Concepts and judgments go together. They are unable to express the highest truth.”
Concepts and judgments are the noise of the mind. They are comprised of thoughts and beliefs and thoughts and beliefs are always noisy. They are the objective polarity of our mental dimension. If we are radically imbalanced to the objective polarity… we forfeit the true reality of holistic experience. Thus it is said that concepts and judgments go together and are unable to express the highest truth.
The opposite of noise is silence. In relative reality… we cannot have one polarity without the other. One polarity can dominate but not eliminate the other. The same is true of our mental dimension… our mind. In order to experience true holistic reality… we must create mental balance… the simultaneity of both noise and silence. It is a simple matter of focused awareness of wakefulness. It is easily cultivated.
If we focus our awareness… right here and right now… on our minds… we observe the noise of our thoughts. Yet simultaneously… between the thoughts… are spaces… and the spaces are always silent. Thus we observe the simultaneity of noise and silence. Such wakefulness creates relative balance and resultant holistic experience. We truthfully experience that both noise and silence are the same blissful consciousness in essence.
This week… cultivate wakefulness of the mind. Open your awareness to include both the noise and the silence… the thoughts and the spaces between them. Experiment with lengthening the spaces between the thoughts… and emphasize the silence. Observe the balance that is created and the resultant expansion of holistic awareness. Such wakefulness will always deliver the experience of true reality… as one blissful consciousness.
