Every increased possession loads us with new weariness.

“Every increased possession loads us with new weariness.”
John Ruskin

Possession is illusion… based on the primary illusion of separation in individuated consciousness.  If subject is illusorily separated from object… then there is the need to get what we do not have.  In this understanding… the subject must possess the object.

But separation creates conflict… the conflict between subject and object… and resultant suffering.  Seeking what you do not have results in consistently not having that which you seek.  Thus conflict and suffering are perpetuated.

To relinquish this weariness… we must relinquish the illusion of separation… by cultivating holistic awareness.  Subject and object are in truth the same consciousness.  There is only one.  All illusory seeking and possession dissolve in truthful holistic experience.

This week let us endeavor to cultivate holistic awareness.  Let us relinquish illusory separation and embrace truthful oneness.  Subjects and objects are the same blissful consciousness.  Such truthful holistic awareness dissolves all illusory conflict and suffering.
