From Fragmentation to Mastery
The master is but a potential to be actualized in each of us. In other words, we are all masters in the making. This is another way of expressing the progressive evolution of individuated consciousness from fragmentation to wholeness.
The master is one who is awake and anchored in the holistic truth of all life as but one blissful consciousness. Awe is the wonder of consciousness, its innate joy of being. Consciousness is a self-delighting energy in awe of itself. If we are awake and experiencing true holistic reality, we are immersed in the wonder of it all as one blissful consciousness from the finite to the infinite unto forever and ever and ever. We are overflowing with awe, with the wonder of it all.
When you lose your sense of awe, you are asleep, asleep within the dream, the ego-driven virtual reality of the mind. You forfeit your bliss. You experience illusory separation, conflict and resultant suffering. Thus, there is little that is awesome in your fragmented experience. The wonder goes out of it all.
Being fragmented in consciousness and not yet awakened denotes those who are egocentric and mired in the material myth. The ego reigns supreme and creates the illusion of separation. This is the primary conflict in non-awakened individuated consciousness, the separation of man and his god, the cause of all suffering. All other conflicts find their root in this primary conflict. This individual conflict spawns all other conflicts -- relational, familial, societal, national and international. Until it is resolved first within the individual consciousness, it remains fragmented and full of suffering.
If you are conflicted within an illusory duality of separation, you do not trust yourself. You are full of doubt and confusion. The ego will never admit to such and covers it up with one sort of bravado or another and suppresses its doubt, its distrust and confusion. The conflict only deepens and remains unconscious, unconscious yet operative within one’s experience. This gives rise to judgments about the illusory others one encounters, judgments that are predominantly life-negative and fear-based. The fear-based feelings get added to the mix like anger, resentment, jealousy, greed, and selfishness. Distrust then is the mark of non-awakened and fragmented individuated consciousness.
If we are mired in the egocentric illusion of separation, we do not recognize our own authority as consciousness. Authority then must be sought outside of oneself or in addition to oneself, and such external and separate authority is the content of life that one uses to define oneself. That can be other people or it can be money and all the things that it can buy through which we create an illusory identity, an illusory authority, a content identity. One becomes a seeker. Life is goal-oriented, driven by the need to collect more content to define oneself. This is, however, an investment in impermanence because all content is impermanent.
If you maintain witness consciousness and are anchored in truthful holistic reality, you have no conflict. You have no confusion and no doubt. If you are holistically wakeful, you are neither deluded nor can you share delusion with others. Rather than making an illusory contribution to the world, you are making a truthful contribution to the world. You are anchored in blissful consciousness. You radiate blissful consciousness. Blissful consciousness is your contribution to the world right here and right now. The awakened one teaches without words because of the amplitude of his or her holistic power. The enlightening holistic human being becomes the teaching.
Be that witnessing consciousness anchored in holistic being, the master that you truly are. Let us live in the wonder of the blissful consciousness that we are, that all is.
