It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts.
“We should tackle reality in a slightly jokey way, otherwise we miss
the point.”
~Lawrence Durrell
In the most time-honored wisdom traditions of humanity… true reality is termed but a play of consciousness… and there is nothing serious about it… because the very nature of consciousness is joy. It is a self-delighting energy… eternally celebrating itself as all and everything.
We miss this most truthful point if we invest in illusory beliefs that tell us otherwise. For example… if we believe that life is serious… we forfeit its innate joy… and experience a limited reality full of conflict and suffering. Has it not been aptly said that what you think is what you get?
This week… let us endeavor to relinquish illusory beliefs and open to the truth of life as a joyful play of consciousness. Let us open our awareness and be wakeful of the innate joy of being… that is life itself. In this way… we can have a more truthful and blissful experience of reality.
