“Paradise is at your own center. Unless you find it there, there is no way to enter.”
Paradise could be defined as the place of eternal happiness. We are often taught that it is separate from us and only attainable after we die. Have you not heard it said that we must suffer on earth to be rewarded in heaven?
Yet, this understanding is what great masters have termed ‘learned ignorance’. The truth, they say, is that happiness is our very nature… and the innate essence of life. Paradise, then, is to be found within us… at the very center of our being.
We must relinquish the illusion of separation… turn our gaze upon ourselves and focus inward to the center of our being. In this way, we come to rest in the eternal happiness that is our very nature and the nature of all life.
This week… let us open our awareness and focus it inward. Beyond all limiting thoughts and beliefs… is our silent center. Resting in being… we are happy for no reason. As has been said, ‘The only way to get to heaven… is to take it with us”. Meditate!
Once again… I welcome you as one.
