People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness.

“People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they are not on your road does not mean they have gotten lost.”
The Dalai Lama

Has it not been aptly said that all paths lead to the mountaintop?  Why then all this confusion about paths?  It is usually because of the ego driven mind which lives within the constant judgement that its path is the only path… or that it is right and everyone else is wrong.  Such is the nature of egoic delusion.  The inevitable result of course is conflict and suffering.

This is readily apparent in religious traditions.  If the ego remains dominant… then its religion is the only true religion… and everyone else is deluded.  Rather… it is the egoic position that is deluded… and when one evolves beyond it… conflict and suffering cease.  Trans-egoic experience is rather compassionate, cooperative and tolerant.

This week… let us endeavor to be more wakeful of our egoic remnants… or those non-wakeful judgements that award us illusory superiority.  Let us relinquish such limited experience and open more fully to the trans-egoic truth of the oneness of all and everything… the unity within all diversity.  Such is indeed a much more fulfilling experience.
