“Say nothing and saw wood.”
Saying nothing implies silence… silence of the mind. To say nothing outwardly or inwardly… it to be dominantly silent. Since all experience is relative… silence in relation to noise creates balance… and balance delivers holistic experience. Thus in saying nothing… we create balance and the holistic experience of true reality.
True holistic reality is the experience of life as it is within all of its happenings. It is the essence of life as one blissful consciousness eternally delighting within itself. The essence of life and the happenings of life cannot be truthfully separated. Within all the happenings of life… one blissful consciousness is at play.
Sawing wood is but a happening of life. In essence… it is blissful consciousness… as are all happenings of life. Yet if we are not maintaining relative balance and resultant holistic experience… we have not the eyes to see the truthful essence of life as one blissful consciousness.
This simple quotation is thus very profound. It delineates the mechanics of relative consciousness and the balance that is essential to true holistic experience. Again… say nothing and saw wood.
This week… let us cultivate saying nothing… or opening our awareness to the silence that is simultaneous to the noise. Focus on your mind and explore the spaces between your thoughts. The spaces are silent and simply being aware of them creates balance and resultant holistic experience. Then… even you… can say nothing… and simply saw wood… and experience the one blissful consciousness that is the essence of life within all of its happenings.
