We all Want to be Notable People
“We all want to be notable people and the moment we want to be something we are no longer free.” ~Krishnamurti
We all want to be notable people. We want to be something other than we are. The truth is we are here to simply be. That’s the primary intention in life, the primary intention in the whole of consciousness, to fully be itself. And if it is to fully be itself, it is to be joyous life. It’s certainly very simple but minds make it so complex. We are here to be blissful, joyous life. End of story!
But rather we seek to be something other than we are. The moment you seek anything you are saying to yourself that you do not have that which you seek. So, seeking is denial, denial is conflict, and conflict is suffering. The moment you want to be something, anything other than you are, you are no longer free.
It is the ego-driven mind that enslaves us into virtual realities that are devoid of bliss, that are full of suffering within which we need drugs to cope with our stress. But, in truth, we are here to relinquish all seeking and rather just to be, to be as we are. So, right here and right now, just be as you are.
And what are you? A form, an expression of life! And life, in truth, is but a joyous energy, a blissful consciousness. If you are fulfilling the primary intention in consciousness in this moment, you are simply being alive. Being blissful, loving yourself, accepting yourself, delighting in yourself as you truly are. I have often said that we are here to learn how to love. Love what? Love ourselves as we truly are, as one blissful consciousness.
So let this be our focus for today and for the rest of this day and the rest of this week and for forever. Simply be alive and love ourselves as we truly are, one blissful consciousness.
