“Where there is sunshine, there is also shade.”
We live in a relative reality and all experience is relative. There are always two polarities within any experience and we cannot have one without the other. One polarity can dominate… yet not eliminate the other. The default dominant polarity is the objective or negative polarity. Thus we are automatically imbalanced. Relative imbalance produces fragmentation or limitation in consciousness and thus we forfeit our wholeness if it is not addressed. In fragmentation… we increase our conflict and resultant suffering.
Wholeness is proportional to relative balance. It eliminates conflict and resultant suffering. To create it… we must emphasize the non-dominant or subjective… positive… polarity. It is in this understanding that meditation is the foremost balancing technique in recorded human history.
This week let us endeavor to maintain our focus on balance and resultant holistic experience. Let us not only meditate… but also increase our wakeful focus on the subjective… positive polarity… the interior of our being… throughout the waking hours of the day. In this way… we will maximize balance and enjoy holistic experience.
