Why is the World Such a Crazy Place
~Master Charles Cannon
Why is the world such a crazy place? Perhaps we have just been taught to believe that it’s supposed to make sense, and in truth it never does. It never has and probably never will. Maybe we are just deluded along with the majority of the human race, and we simply want things to be other than they are. What exactly is the truth anyway?
The great sages and masters throughout our history have expressed their experience in detailed philosophical systems that thoroughly delineate the nature of true reality. The cosmos, the universal manifestation of life, is designed to be crazy! The great masters call it the great play of consciousness; it is but a purposeless energy going nowhere for no reason and absolutely nothing could be more non-serious than life itself.
The happenings of life are simply that, the happenings of life, nothing more and nothing less. All our problems are created by the stories we tell about it. It’s only a crazy world, if we make it so. That is exactly what most people do with their endless stories about who they are and what life is.
We can change the crazy world we create. There are those who do awaken from the dream of seriousness and self-created madness and experience true reality as but the joyful play of one eternally blissful consciousness.
Wake up! Invest in self-awareness. Cultivate wakefulness. Breathe, and be blissful. There’s absolutely nothing serious going on here. There is quite simply the eternal happening of but one radically non-serious and blissful consciousness, playing and delighting within itself in awe of its happenings, just for the fun of it. Such is just the experience of true reality as the play of consciousness.
Be wakeful and self-aware so that you can just watch life happening. Extract yourself from the crazy world of the ego-driven mind and its virtual reality, and experience true reality as one blissful consciousness--playing, delighting, joyous eternally within itself. Bottom line, wakefully breathe and be blissful!
