Understanding Catharsis as an aspect of the Meditative Process

At Synchronicity, we have one primary focus, which is meditation. For over three decades, we have honed and refined our technology and methodology to deliver advanced meditative states in the shortest possible time while keeping catharsis to a minimum.

As we build our meditation practice, the light of awareness begins to penetrate into superconscious states while at the same time, awareness starts to conscious the unconscious. The unconscious contains our defenses, limiting data and emotions that are traumatic and or fear-based. As we bring awareness to the unconscious, we will re-experience these feelings and have the opportunity to clear this data and repressed emotions. This is liberating, and the process is called catharsis.

Catharsis is a part of meditation, particularly as a new meditator; as we build our power, limiting data and emotions surface in our awareness to be witnessed and cleared. Catharsis is the biggest stumbling block for new meditators as we deal with our unconscious fears and concerns. Catharsis is an essential aspect of the meditative process, particularly as a new meditator; this, too, will pass as we expel all data that is incongruent with expanded states of awareness.

Catharsis is an opportunity to watch and not become identified with whatever is going on. If we emotionally identify with our limiting beliefs (unconscious patterning), we strengthen those beliefs. However, we clear our limiting beliefs by staying neutral and watching our issues.
